Happy Weekend OKC Metro Friends! I hope this edition finds you well and hopefully enjoying this BEAUTIFUL weather. I’m so excited about this weekend for many reasons. For one, it looks like sunny, clear skies ahead and the perfect weather for outdoor Summer events. Who says Summer is over?? Yes, Labor Day Weekend is around the corner, but as usual, the OKC Metro continues to deliver with so many fun events for THIS weekend.
While pulling together this week’s newsletter, I found myself wanting to go to just about every single event. There are so many happenings revolving around FOOD & MUSIC! So how could you go wrong?
First of all, there is a Joni Mitchell Tribute concert this Friday at Myriad Gardens that I am considering. My parents would be so proud….and jealous! What a talented artist. Here’s hoping they do that legend justice!
There are also a couple of BIG sporting events this weekend. Do “take me out to the ballpark” & “GOOOOOOOAL” mean anything to you??
I’ve also packed the events list with Dog events ( in honor of National Dog Day today ), an Asian Market Night Festival that has me excited and dreaming of delicious egg rolls & a fun yoga event for the whole family. It’s a great way to get the kids into yoga too!
