OKC Metro Weekly Events: August 20, 2021

Hello OKC Metro Friends!  I hope all of you have enjoyed your week and are ready for the weekend! I’ve heard some people say when school starts, it’s the end of Summer.  Really?!  Well, by the looks of all the events going on this weekend in the OKC Metro, it sure doesn’t seem like it! But you won’t miss a thing with our list, OKC Metro Weekly Events: August 20, 2021 edition.

If you’ve been receiving this newsletter for a while, then you know I am always looking for “themes” in the events I research & package for you.  And this week, there are a few!  

First off, there are several outdoor events with plenty of food & Food Trucks, like Heard on Hurd in Edmond, and Concert in the Park in Moore.  But there are also several events that have a “Western” vibe to them, like The Summer ShootOut, featuring Barrel Racing.  There is also the 2021 Thoroughbred Season Opener at Remington park, and The Cattlemen’s Association event going on in Guthrie…the Ranch Rodeo, but it’s not your typical rodeo either!

So, whatever you’re into….I feel/hope you’ll find it this weekend and have a GREAT time!
