Featuring…..
I’m so excited to share this week’s Business of the Week featuring Harvey Bakery & Kitchen! I recently learned of this new local hot spot, here in the OKC Metro, and I had to check it out.
About this HOTSPOT
Harvey Bakery & Kitchen is a relatively new restaurant in the OKC Metro. Currently, it is open, but calling it a “soft opening.” What that means it is open from 6:00AM to 2:00PM daily. According to its website, it sounds like the will open up for dinner as well, some time in the future.
Where can I find it?
Harvey Bakery and Kitchen is located at 301 NW 13th St. This is in the hear of Midtown, which is located in OKC. It on the corner of Harvey and NW 13th St. Pretty clever name right? And how could you miss it?!
But I do have a parking tip for you. Look for parking on Harvey. I drove up 13th St and had to park a ways off. That said, it looked like there was plenty of parking on Harvey, even for the other tenants of that building.
The restaurant shares restroom facilities with other tenants. It reminded me of the set up at Packards and Revel8. But, no worries, the bathrooms were retro, beautiful and super clean.
What on the menu?
During my visit I ordered the Vegan Breakfast Sandwich (because who doesn’t want more plant based options in their menu). And let me tell you, it was AMAZING! It came on a toasted focaccia bread that was sprinkled with that awesome Everything seasoning. And the avocado spread made the perfect blend of crunchy and gooey.
I also ordered the herb roasted potatoes. Before even tasting it, I asked the delivery person to bring me some ketchup. That was a mistake. They didn’t need a thing! Perfect seasoned and so savory!
Oh by the way, the way, it’s a walk up style of a restaurant. Like the former La Bagette in Deep Duece use to be. Just place your order, take a number sign and they will make sure to find you with you yummy order.
They also serve various other egg and bacon dishes, muffins, scones and such!
The Vibe
Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Harvey Bakery & Kitchen was very clean, trendy yet retro and had lots of room. The dinning room was like a high end chow hall with beautiful decor. There were table, booth and shared table options. I saw several patrons enjoining their meal or coffee with a laptop taking care of business.
There was also a beautiful archway opening that lead you to the restrooms which was very eye catch.
So the bottom line is, if you’re looking for a new place to try with DELISH food and a HIP vibe, you have got to check out my Business of the Week featuring Harvey Bakery & Kitchen
I cant wait to see what they have in store for a dinner menu!
See for yourself!
