Every April 23, we celebrate Movie Theatre Day, a special holiday dedicated to the magic and thrills that movie theaters bring into our lives. From heart-pounding action to tearjerking dramas, movie theaters are where stories come alive and memories are made.
💡 Fun Fact: On June 19, 1905, the first common public motion picture theater in the U.S. opened in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Owners Harry Davis and John Harris named their cinema Nickelodeon. The name comes from the word “nickel” (the cost of admission) and the Greek word for theater, “odeon.” Pretty cool, right?!
