Closing Day in the OKC Metro

Closing day in the OKC Metro is one of our FAV days in the real estate world! It is almost ALWAYS a joyous occasion for both Sellers and Buyers.

For the Sellers…

For the Sellers, the reason for the sales could be numerous. Sellers may have to move out of town for a new job. I have also had several sellers who are down sizing. Others, like one of my current clients, are leveling up! This client is an Airbnb operator who has been renting out her condominium. She and her business partner liked the model so much, they are selling the condo to find a single family home that is bigger and in an even better location.

Seller’s are also selling to make a premium on their property. You may have heard, it’s a Sellers Market and some of my clients have downsized or are considering living with family to cash out on their homes now and buy another property when the market slows down and is more favorable for buyers.

Regardless of the reason, Sellers are usually very happy on closing day, especially if they received FULL PRICE!!

For the Buyers…

There are so many buyers out there right now looking to purchase a home. Most are people looking for homes as a primary residence. But, there are several investors out there also jumping in for investment properties. Regardless, for a real estate agent like myself, I get a lot of satisfaction when I help an investor increase or diversify his or hers portfolio. And the cherry on top is when I can help a family, like first time buyers, reach their dream of home ownership. And taking that pic on closing day with the BIG KEY is everything!
