Thanksgiving Week Recap
I hope all of you were able to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and spend time with friends and loved ones.
As for me, I was in Waco, TX visiting family. *FREE TIP* Avoid I-35 the day before a major holiday AT ALL COSTS!🚘 There was a lot of traffic but it was worth it in the end.
Looking Ahead in the OKC Metro
Now back to Oklahoma! There is sooo much going on this weekend, I had to pare down the list. I’m sure it is no surprise that we have lots of Christmas tree lighting events &🎅🏻 themed events going on this time of year. I’m really excited about the Holiday Pop Up Shops in OKC. It’s a great way to find some really unique things and also support our local businesses that count on us!
But honestly, I’m not sure how I am going to hit all of these events. I’ve never been to the Pecan Festival and with pecan pie freshly on my brain from last week, I feel the Pecan Festival calling my name! And that holiday river parade at Riversport sounds like something different and fun, too. Decisions, decisions!
