OKC Metro Weekly Events

Hello OKC Metro Friends!  Are you ready for another issue of OKC Metro Weekly Events? But before we get to that, it’s a cold one here in Oklahoma and I hope ALL OF YOU have been staying warm the last couple of days!❄️  I have been able to spend some time by the fire and enjoying the snow fall.  I have to be honest and say I don’t mind the frigid weather and the snow because as we all know living in Oklahoma, the weather never stays the same for long, right?

I also have a couple of Cavachons (Daisy & Bennie) and they have really enjoyed running around in the backyard the last couple of days, looking for their tennis balls in the snow.  For fun, I recommend doing a video of your pooches (or kids) in the snow in SLO-MO on your phone’s camera for some HILARIOUS reels to share on social media.  I found myself doing that more than once this week!  

I’ve also taken advantage of the downtime to curate a list of FUN & UNIQUE events going on in the OKC Metro this weekend.  I realize the snow is going to be around for a few more days, so I focused on mostly indoor happenings due to the weather.  

Sneak Peak

I have to admit, I am SUPER exited about the Chocolate Festival in Yukon on Saturday!  I have never been and hope to make it this year.  Antique and flea market shopping is also one of my guilty pleasures, so I’m looking forward to the Vintage Flea Market at the OKC Fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday.  Please say HI if you see me there!

Now, if you plan to stay close to home most of the weekend, don’t forget the 2022 Winter Olympics is on and what better way to pass the time than to root for the USA!! 🇺🇸
