OKC Metro Weekly Events: October 1, 2021

Hello OKC Metro Friends.🍂Fall and all the wonderful things that come with it is here!  The leaves are starting to turn and cooler weather is just around the corner!  And with the changing season comes new, fun events. And you won’t miss a thing with our list, OKC Metro Weekly Events: October 1, 2021 edition.

But first I would like to take a moment and pay respects to the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon happening this weekend and the 168 souls lost and the countless Oklahomans affected by the horrible tragedy.  In true Oklahoma form, we have pushed on and found a way to honor those lost and turn that tragedy into a day of achievement, reaching goals and giving your all.  There are over 12,000 registered runners and I am so curious how many of my followers reading this will be participating?!  🏃‍♂️

And if I don’t see you at the marathon, then maybe at one of MANY other fun events going on in the OKC Metro.  There are several kid and family oriented events this weekend, as well as several cultural celebrations and musical events.  The one thing that is definitely not missing is FOOD !  

There are also several outdoor market events for fun shopping and scary Halloween events popping up.  What ever you are into I’m pretty sure THIS WEEKEND, you’ll find it here in the OKC Metro!
