Happy National Tulip Day! ![]()
One of the most loved flowers is getting the spotlight today—and for good reason! Tulips originated in Central Asia and were later cultivated in Turkey around 1000 A.D., where they became a prized symbol in the Ottoman Empire. By the 16th century, they made their way to Europe (hello, Netherlands!) and have been admired ever since.
Celebrate today by adding a pop of color to your home or garden with some beautiful tulips from local OKC Metro spots:
TLC Garden Centers -105 W Memorial Rd, OKC
Greenstock -16301 N Rockwell Ave Bld. A, Edmond
Bob Scott Nursery – 10116 W Wilshire Blvd, Yukon
Or support a local florist and brighten your space with a fresh bouquet:
Tony Foss Flowers – 7610 N May Ave, OKC
Capitol Hill Florist – 11904 S May Ave, OKC
Floral And Hardy – 1324 N Robinson Ave, OKC
Celebrate the day and bring a little spring indoors! ![]()
